| 2010 MISSILE WING REUNION LITTLE ROCK, AR Sept 16-19, 2010 (tentative dates) (September 15 for early arrivals) Welcome 308th Missileers!, Per popular vote at our last reunion in 2007, the time has arrived to start planning the third wing reunion in September 2010. There is no particular theme on this year’s event. The main objective will be to relax with old friends and re-discover what makes Little Rock so special. Those who attend will once again be given the opportunity to decide on When and Where to hold our next event. If you still have some, be sure to bring some mementos to display in the Hospitality room. Both Dan Reichel and “Bud” Laumer have volunteered to run the Hospitality suite, and did an excellent job of decorating at the 2007 reunion. Many thanks to our Webmaster, Ed Smith, for designing our official 308 SMW Banner! Our Reunion Committee is seeking new volunteers to help with the planning process. There is not a lot effort initially, but we particularly need local help in the following areas: hotel and banquet plans, badge and brochure preparation, hospitality volunteers, and registration check- in. Since it worked so well last time, the only organized event will be the Saturday banquet. I encourage you to seek out former 308th SMW maintainers, operators, and supporters to spread the word. Being a 308 SMW missileer is SPECIAL! The standard reunion agenda is as follows: Thursday, 16 September - hotel check-in. Pick up registration in lobby. - Hospitality room open in Presidential Suite - Evening social in Reception room - Welcome and other announcements Friday, 17 September - free continental breakfast - registration for late arrivals until 11am (hospitality suite from then on) - Arkansas Riverboat cruise (if enough interested) - Hospitality suite open from 2-6pm - Evening – No Plan as yet Saturday, 18 September - free continental breakfast - FREE DAY to visit local attractions, visit friends. (see OPTIONS) - Hospitality suite open from 4-6pm - Evening banquet, guest speaker, entertainment Sunday, 19 September - Full breakfast, short meeting, Farewell Remarks Would anyone object to the Comfort Inn Suites as our location?
